In 1979, Il Fanale was born in a small workshop just outside Treviso, thanks to the will of Fausto Dalla Torre and his wife Luisa to create exceptional lamps, an expression of Italian quality. The idea develops by working with noble materials such as copper, brass and glass, and subjecting them to an elaborate oxidation process, a technique still secretly guarded by the family today. In 2000, commercial growth began thanks to foreign markets that seem to strongly appreciate the products created by the company and in 2011 Marzia and Tomas Dalla Torre, children of Fausto and Luisa, designed the innovative Torremato line, also made of natural and ecofriendly materials, thanks to which they won the Compasso d'Oro in 2014. The company is constantly renewed and its products range from the Industrial style, with aged finishes, to the New Decò one, which takes the traits of Art Deco in a contemporary key, from the modern and minimal style, to the American Country one.
