The Stilnovo brand was founded in 1946 by Bruno Gatta and, today, is considered one of the most important Italian brands thanks to the creation of iconic lamps and important collaborations. During the first years, Stilnovo was presented at various exhibitions and events, such as the Milan Triennale and the Moma in New York, and won several awards including the Compasso d'Oro. The Stilnovo brand boasts several collaborations with renowned Italian designers: Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Joe Colombo, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti and many others. From these collaborations, iconic projects are born and are still known worldwide today: the Saliscendi, Topo, Valigia, Buonanotte, Lampiatta, Minibox lamps.
