Ryosuke Fukusada was born in Osaka in 1979 and graduated from Kanazawa College of Art and Design in 2002. His work began as a lighting designer for Sharp Corporation. He then moved to Italy to attend a master’s degree in interior design at the Domus Academy in 2007 and the following year began the collaboration with the Milanese studio Urquiola. The Italian working experience with well-known manufacturers of furniture, lighting, kitchens and interior design ended in 2012 when he returned to Japan Fukusada founded his own studio. Among his collaborations Axo Light, Belle Maison, Vie del marmo, Bonaldo, Cotto.
